Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing
I specialise in Psychodynamic Therapeutic Counselling, which involves looking into the past to understand the present and make changes, whilst bearing in mind the more modern and up to date techniques that have been proven to help clients.  I am aware that the past alone is not always the full picture
